A short drive from the Begich, Boggs Visitor Centre is the hike to Byron Glacier. From the parking lot it’s a fairly easy trail of about 0.8 miles to the snowfield at the foot of the glacier. It’s a nice walk through some beautiful woods and the view of the glacier is spectacular. Even on a grey-ish day it’s a great thing to do!
