MOLLY’S REACH RESTAURANT IN GIBSONS, BC
Sure … you go there for the name … and the Beachcomber’s fame. But unlike most ‘tourist traps’ … the food is really good!
Lots of neat memorabelia inside and a great patio outside. Service was very good (although we were there before the main tourist season so it might get a bit slower when super busy) and friendly and while not extensive, the menu is quite adequate.
There is local beer to be had, and good music in the background. It’s easy to find as Gibsons’ Landing isn’t huge … shops are near for browsing before/after dining. Parking is on street … lots around but could get busy in the main tourist season.
If you like beef dip … I highly recommend theirs … it’s probably the best I’ve ever had … and that’s saying something!
